While the writing is typically Gaiman, with his typically odd visuals, it’s not as odd as most, and a bit more obvious (probably because this is a children’s story). The undertones – how everything goes to projection, a dissociation of emotion, the ties between mother and daughter, and how often they go unspoken, unexplored – were all beautiful and deeply poignant.

My favorite magazine of all time. Packed with information for the eco-conscious. Wonderful articles and recipes, and beautifully written pieces. So many of the articles stuck with me – the recipe for whole wheat pizza dough (num!), the people who lived on a floating house, stories of volunteer vacations…

Sigh…

I love the positivity Megan brings to this video. Yes, it’s easy, and I hope they release more advanced videos, but it also doesn’t contain any poses that my shape and size impeeds, which is really what I was looking for. I was able to relax into the poses, which other videos generally do not allow me to do. I love plus-sized fitness instructors, and I love them all the more when they talk about positive body image.

This is not really for someone who has been dealing with PCOS for years, but more the well-rounded primer.
