We saw the Softub at a home show in San Jose after purchasing a home there. Our house is a 104 year old victorian and it didn’t have enough room in the bathroom for a standard tub. We looked for bathtub alternatives, but they were all very expensive and would have required additional work on the subfloor for installation. My wife wanted a tub, but it appeard it would be more than we wanted to pay.
I was skeptical of the Softub at first and resisted purchasing it. My wife however talked me into it and I’m glad she did. It’s one of the best purchases we made for the house.
The Softub is very energy efficient and uses very little electricity. It stays warm a long time and uses minimal chemicals. We use it at least once every weekend to start the morning and are often in it both Saturday and Sunday. Evenings are also enjoyable in the tub, but we tend to use it more in the mornings.
The 220 model is perfect for us. It’s very roomy for 2 people and can accomodate four. We have moved it twice since getting it in order to put in a new deck and then move it onto the deck. It was very easy to move and I was able do to it by myself.
If you’re looking for a hot tub I can highly recommend this one.
