Why it's taking me forever to finish consuming "Exultant (Destiny's Children (Paperback))" — 1 year ago

I’m enjoying the story, but it isn’t one that really draws me completely into it and motivates me to read more often. I’m reading it in 20 minute interludes once or twice a week when I’m in the gym on the exercycle. It’s also a library book, so sometimes I can’t check it out again and have to wait for it’s return to start up where I left off.

I’m almost done with it though, I’m at page 400.

A story about "Judgment of Paris: California vs. France and the Historic 1976 Paris Tasting That Revolutionized Wine" — 1 year ago

I’m really enjoying this book so far. I find the way Taber is presenting the information leading up to the tasting very exciting and enjoyable. I am finding out a lot about the key players in the story and how they got there. He has also done an excellent job giving the history of wine in a nutshell for the world, France, the US and California. I’ll give a full review when I’m done with the book.

An amazing value — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

We saw the Softub at a home show in San Jose after purchasing a home there. Our house is a 104 year old victorian and it didn’t have enough room in the bathroom for a standard tub. We looked for bathtub alternatives, but they were all very expensive and would have required additional work on the subfloor for installation. My wife wanted a tub, but it appeard it would be more than we wanted to pay.

I was skeptical of the Softub at first and resisted purchasing it. My wife however talked me into it and I’m glad she did. It’s one of the best purchases we made for the house.

The Softub is very energy efficient and uses very little electricity. It stays warm a long time and uses minimal chemicals. We use it at least once every weekend to start the morning and are often in it both Saturday and Sunday. Evenings are also enjoyable in the tub, but we tend to use it more in the mornings.

The 220 model is perfect for us. It’s very roomy for 2 people and can accomodate four. We have moved it twice since getting it in order to put in a new deck and then move it onto the deck. It was very easy to move and I was able do to it by myself.

If you’re looking for a hot tub I can highly recommend this one.

A very nice wine — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I picked this up at the winery within the last couple of years. I don’t remember how much I enjoyed it initially, but when I had it now it was fantastic. I gave it a 8.25 out of 10 which is extremely high for me. The highest rating I’ve ever given any wine is 9.5.

The wine was rich and full, there was pepper both in the nose and on the palate. It had a deep, inky quality and finished very smoothly. It was a delightful wine.

Why I recommend "Camouflage (Ace Science Fiction)" — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Although the story is somewhat striaght forward, I enjoyed the characters and the transition of one of the shape shifters as he becomes more human. I found it to be very engossing. This was one of those books I didn’t want to put down.
