I’m all for a ST: TNG novel as much as the next person, doubly so with a Borg plotline. ‘Resistance,’ however, left me with a sour taste. The story telling was uneven and much of the characterization assumes the reader is a complete moron and knows nothing about these characters.

I understand an author needs to offer something for new readers to a series, but nothing of ‘Resistance’ (It’s cover or plotline) are much in the way of new-fan-attracting level.
