A story about "Chicken Santa Fe Salad" — 1 year ago
I’m not typically a salad lover although I’m trying. However, I absolutely love Beef O’Brady’s chicken santa fe salad. I forego the dressing and put salsa on it instead. Um um good!

Once, when I worked overtime on the 4th of July, we were treated to barbecue by our employer. Unfortunately, I got food poisoning. Unfortunately, I’ve hated barbecue ever since. Even the thought of it turns my stomach.
I fell in love with these when we were stationed in Biloxi, Mississippi with the Air Force. I worked in a Sea Food restaurant that served scrumptious po’ boys. I finally found one at the Cheese cake Factory in Florida and then they took it off the menu. I found one last week at The Whale, but unfortunately, they’re charging an exorbitant amount for a tiny sandwich with no sides, so I refuse to buy it there. It looks like I’ll have to learn the secret to the sauce, so I can make my own.
As a native Cincinnatian, chili is a food group, especially Cincinnati chili spaghetti. It far surpasses regular chili and I can’t understand non-Cincinnatians who don’t immediately fall in love with it.
Although I don’t live in Cincinnati now, I am lucky to live in another town that boasts two Skyline Chili parlors.
I wish I could give this book more than 5 stars. It’s my favorite book of all time. I love the characters. I love King’s prose. I’ve read the book many times.
I also enjoy the movie and have watched it many times. However, the book far surpasses the movie.
How I would love to write such an epic novel. I’ll keep trying.
Although it’s an animated movie, it’s one of my all-time favorite. I didn’t expect it to be. I didn’t catch it in the theaters until it reached the dollar theater. Once I saw it, I was hooked. I watched it so often, my kids begged me to stop. That’s pretty bad when a child wants to stop watching a cartoon.
My daughter-in-law and I think Shaing Le is HOT. Or is it that I love Donny Osmond’s voice so much?
A cult movie and a teenage movie to be sure, but another of my favorites. It’s another of my “end of the world movie”. This time, the teenagers save what’s left of the human race.
Despite having a lot of horror, it’s fun.
I seem to love “end of the world movies” as my kids call them. What I love is that the human race triumphs against horrible odds, that we rally and come together against the foes.
Not only is this movie full of action and adventure, but it has great characterization. I never tire of it. It’s one of my favorites.
I hate to say, however, it seems to be a remake of “V – Visitors”, an old 1980s TV series.
What a great adventure movie. Harrison Ford is the perfect swashbuckling romantic hero. His chemistry with Marion is hot leaving me wanting more.
If you read my other reviews, you’ll see I love swashbucklers – Rick O’Connell from The Mummy, Captain Jack Sparrow and Will Turner from Pirates of the Caribbean, Captain Hans Solo from Star Wars, and of course, Indiana Jones, perhaps the top of the heap.
Finally, the next Indiana Jones movie has been announced. It’s due to come out May 2008 and I’ll be first in line. I can’t wait!
This is one of my all-time favorite movies. Swashbuckler Rick O’Connell is rivaled only by Indiana Jones in my book. It is reminiscent of the Indiana Jones movies which I also adore.
I love the blend of romance, adventure, horror, and humor. It has it all. Best of all is the on-spot characterizations and awesome plot.
Ask my family – I watch it time and time again.
