How "Conversations with Other Women" changed my life — 28 weeks ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

You know how you throw that old romance over and over in your head? You invent situations, make up responses.. All you think you want is another shot with that person. To see what happens. To see how it makes you feel. Most of us do get that other shot and it never turns out the way we hoped. Each has gone his or her way, has a new life and outlook on things. This is what this movie is about. Letting go of old lovers.

you can’t fix what is broken.

A review of "Black Orchid" — 37 weeks ago

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

The thing that turned me off from the start was the “Indian slaves” subplot. Brazilian Native Americans were NEVER made slaves. They wouldn’t have it. They would rather die then be forced to work, and a lot of tribes got killed.

There were some Natives working on the rubber, I suppose, but the majority of the rubber collectors were from other parts of Brazil (specially northeast). The work wasn’t fair though. They were treated worse than dogs and were in some kind of debt chain with the rubber masters which worked as some sort of slavery.

Anyways, this piece of history was ignored in the book and it did piss me off since the whole subplot involved freeing the slaves and stuff.

Steven Tyler: I have to tell you guys something. I’m not one of those singers who appear in movies. I made it this far without doing it.

Dogma is one of my favorite movies.
