A story about "Chindi" — 6 years ago
i found it to be a real page turner.
I'm currently reading 13 books, listening to 0 albums, watching 0 movies, eating and drinking 0 food items, and consuming 0 other things.
annikagyrl hasn't consumed anything recently.
interesting, but not as great as i thought it would be. i predicted the ending early.
Even better than the first book, if that’s possible.
Beautifully written, with lots of eroticism and adventure. The political intrigue in the first third of the book is a bit hard to follow, but who cares. It’s the characters that keep the pages turning. (Plus all that sex.)
funny, light reading, one of the best first chapters of any book i’ve read, gets more heavy towards the end.
the least good of the three, still excellent
Not very good at all. Three stories in one, none of them very well developed. The main protagonist does a lot of standing around watching things happen. Not enough action and what little there is occurs on the periphery of the Crusade itself.
Well written, interesting story idea, i don’t know if it’s part one of a planned series, but it probably should be. the main character is well developed. if it has a flaw its that the final conflict and resolution is somewhat anti-climactic and predictable. Richards does such a good job of writing a character who we know can kick ass, and so i expect to see her kicking ass at the end.
