A story about "Amy and Jordan" — 3 years ago
I love the bleak humor of this comic.
I'm currently reading 1 book, listening to 0 albums, watching 0 movies, eating and drinking 0 food items, and consuming 0 other things.
I lovew the way Ann Petry uses language. It makes an ordinary story extra ordinary
It’s vital infomation about the beginnings of a gay movement in America, but the prose is a bit dry. I won’t replace it(my copy is falling apart, I bought it this way) but I don’t regret reading it.
My copy is a different edition with a leg with wings on the cover. I have reread it a hundred times, although I’m not sure why.
Still amazing.
I have read this book so many times that I can repeat small lines of it to myself like a mantra.
I really love this book. She documents the confusion and pain she felt and I felt accutely for the first time the immense privilege of having a birth family all around you.
I have to admit, no matter what, I cry at the end of every season of Sailor Moon.
I borrowed this from my teacher. I’m up to page 180, and it is a pretty good book.
This is a dense but lyrically beautiful tale of a family struggling towards redemption.
