I have the other cover, but I wish I had this one, as I hate movie tie ins.

I loved it. But the little crust pieces were kinda weird,
I thought I had only heard Suddenly I See from this album, but in fact I heard Black Horse and Cherry Tree in cycling class
Any lover of romantic stories should read this classic. The prose of course is not of the modern clear style, but it is still beautiful.
This is even better and more complex than the prequel My Soul to Keep- the fantasy element of immortality is treated believably throughout, there are many story threads with something for everyone. Even the ending was satisfying.
Yea, Nalo is really Butler’s literary child. She takes today’s problems(white flight, organ donation) and puts them in the future, but she puts a heavy dose of Carribean mysticism in the mix as well. I also liked that Nalo made the main character a mother as well. I thought it added a nice touch.
I think the american cover may look better here, although I like wondering if 3 for 18 pounds really is a good price.
Very good at showing instead of telling. An above average sappy book.
Very helpful with my paper
