A story about "Duma Key: A Novel" — 1 year ago
Lit people can say whatever they like about King, but I LOVE his stories!

This took me almost 3 months to complete, but it was worth it!
An excellent read and a very well-written story.
I quite liked this story, and it was well-written, but I don’t think I liked it well enough to continue reading the series. Enjoyable though!
I love this book. I was hooked after the first few pages. It is an amazing story: fun, interesting, romantic, devastating.
I don’t really have much to say about this. I really enjoy the short story form, but I may have been too distracted this week to fully appreciate this collection. I was underwhelmed to say the least.
I don’t usually read non-fiction (see my consumption list for proof), but when I saw this title at my favourite local used bookstore, I decided to pick it up. It sounds really interesting.
Since the author is American (I checked), I found it unusual that the only other person on this site to have read the book (so far) is a fellow Canadian!
This poetry book is written by my first-year English (Lit) instructor. She was an amazing teacher, who has inspired me a great deal, and I was fortunate enough to have been invited to her book opening where I heard her read from this book. I enjoy her poetry quite a bit, especially the bits of humour that often come as a suprise.
As a self described fan of Can Lit, I can’t believe that this is my first venture into an Atwood novel. I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and I intend to read more.
My boyfriend lent this to me with a warning that, although it’s not a great book, it does have some interesting stuff in it.
After completing it, I have to agree with him.
