WORTH CONSUMING!

This quirky, sometimes hilarious film could have fallen flat on its face but it doesn’t thanks to a superb central performance from Maggie Gyllenhaal who playfully pulls you in.

Wish it had ended after “Wise Up”... final redemptive third wasn’t necessary for me personally

WORTH CONSUMING!

Simple, clear, habit forming, and easy to stick to the Abs Diet is a way of eating and exercising healthily that fits into ordinary everyday life without obsessing about it. the style is relaxed and friendly. I’ve lost weight, toned up, have loads more energy and feel so much better. So what if I’m a girl! The Abs Diet…not just for men…

A story about "Asparagus" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

May in England…it can only be thick bright green asparagus bursting with flavour. Chomp it up because it is onyl in season for such a short time. So many ways to eat but this is my current favourite…

Roast for 15 minutes then server on top of a rare grilled sirloin steak, dot with butter, that will melt all over the aspargus with a lazy glide, and top the whole thing with a poached egg. Pure spring bliss.

A story about "Spring Greens & Pork Pasta" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I made this up last night but it turned out rather nice so posting to remind myself what I did!

Serves 4

4 Pork Steaks
200g Philadelphia Light Garlic and Herb
1 Pointy Spring Cabbage
2 cups Cider
Garlic
Spring Onions
Wholewheat Spaghetti

1. Shred the cabbage and stick it in a saucepan of boiling water with the wholewheat spaghetti and cider.
2. Slice the prok and spring onions and saute with the garlic. Just before serving at the Philly.
3. Drain cabbage and spaghetti and mix with the pork, onions and philly sauce.

Mmmm!

Why I recommend "Straight into Darkness" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

More interesting as an attempt to imagine and depict the chaos and difficult choices of turbulent 1929 Munich than a classically gripping mystery. As a history fan this was engrossing, if you are a crime buff you may find the detection yawns.
