A Prairie Home Companion

I really enjoyed this, it’s funny, and quirky. Lindsay Lohan wasn’t all that great, but she wasn’t in it much really. I think they just wanted her to sing.

Not much of a plot, but funny, and interesting. It seemed to me like it was basically the radio show, with a few other things.

Rent (Widescreen Two-Disc Special Edition)

I’m not much of a “movie musical” person. On stage, I generally like them because theatre is, well, theatrical! Movies are different for me. I did enjoy it, mostly.

It was very long. And I felt like it was long, if the movie is gonna be long, don’t let it drag on and on.

Also the ending, was, well… I don’t want to give it away.

Ah, I’m not much a reviewer, oh well.

This is such a good movie, I’ve only seen it once or twice though because shortly after I bought it on VHS or VHS player offically died. It was very sad because I really enjoy the simple quirkiness of this movie, and also how the guys aren’t trying to be actors, they’re just being silly.

The Da Vinci Code

It wasn’t a terrible movie, but the book (which I read after I saw the movie) was much better. It did skip some stuff that I think is rather important, but would have probably made the movie too long. They also did a lot of direct talking from the book it seemed, which I guess isn’t bad, just normally the movies are so different.

Cinema Paradiso

It was a pretty good movie, if it’s the same Cinema Paradiso. It’s about a boy and a movie theatre and the man who runs it. It was pretty good, not my new favorite, but good. It did get a little slow towards the end, the could’ve made it shorter and it still would have been just as good, but overall a quality film.
