beautiful read!! (rated 5 stars)

La Joueuse de go

by Shan Sa

I enjoyed this book so much. Each chapter is alternatively a first person description of either a young Manchourian girl and a Japansese soldier, during the Mandchourian war between China and Japan.
The soldier is assigned to dress up as a Chinese and go play go to discover possible spies and there he meets the girl…

A review of "The Cairo Diary"

The Cairo Diary

by Maxim Chattam

Not a bad book but the author twists your arm a little bit too much in the end and some possibly interesting plots were totally botched.

Something you should definitely read at least once in your life

The Great Book of Amber: The Complete Amber Chronicles, 1-10 (Chronicles of Amber)

by Roger Zelazny

I absolutely adored these books. You just read right through them and feel hungry and unhappy once it’s over. The world and charaters Zelazny created are fascinated. The “ambiance” of the books will just get to you and absorb you to the end.

A story about "Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch"

There are so many memorable quotes or moments :-) One of those books that stick with you for life.
