That’s what I’ve always told people about this album. “If you’re gonna have just one Clash album, get London Calling.” Hell, I use to say that when I was wearing out the vinyl.

It’s got some of the biggies on it that most anyone would / should recognize — London Calling, Spanish Bombs, Guns of Brixton — but it has my favorite sleeper, Train in Vain, as well.

It drifts in and out of my playlists these days, but it’s never out for very long.
