i am ALWAYS reading this book. it’s pure genius. just recently i realized how much this book has shaped the way i write and the way i talk.

love love love. this book doesn’t get enough attention.

i have been listening to this cd over and over all week and i think i’m going to listen to it some more now. it’s just that good. the whole thing.

a couple of weeks ago i saw this as a midnight movie… it was HILARIOUS. in a slightly disturbing way. all of the gore and ridiculous violence was totally unnecessary, but that was part of the charm. soooo funny.

even though i’ve seen this movie many many times, i saw it at a movie theater tonight (hooray midnight movies!). and it was wonderful. i think it may be perfect.

ok, so i’ve technically “consumed” this, but i don’t think i’m quite done digesting it. i’m a huge huge huge fan of siouxsie and the banshees, so i thought i’d try listening to the creatures. as of right now i love the song “i was me” and i also really like “turn it on,” but i’m not really sure about the rest of the album. “exterminating angel” is kinda.. gross.

i had to read this for a human relations class, but i actually liked it. it’s a bit cheesy and outdated sometimes because it was written in 1971, but it’s still really worth reading. i wish i could force some people i know to read it. :D

went to see this tonight at the museum of fine arts.

best silent movie i’ve ever seen. and i’ve seen… a few. :) the gish sisters are adorable.

love it, love it, love it. it makes me want to get a time machine and kidnap adam ant.

the human beings is probably the best song, but they’re mostly all wonderful.

i love this album. i bought it a couple of years ago in a bauhaus-frenzy, forgot about it, almost sold it on e-bay, decided to listen to it again, and was in love. now i listen to it almost every day.

it’s wonderful.
