Buffy was pretty much the worst character on the show. Other than that, pretty entertaining all around!

Through pictures and descriptions of items up for auction, the story of a relationship is told. This appealed to me not only because I love estate sales and vintage things, and because the characters were a photographer and baking-column-writer… but because so much of it was realistic. The little handwritten notes on the backs of receipts and in books, the silly gifts and photographs, unnecessary mementos. So perfect!
This book is really quite amazing. I don’t think I’ve read anything like it—it’s an encyclopedia made up of entries about the author’s very ordinary life. I can relate to so much of it and it automatically makes me think I could be friends with her.
She’s working on another project now (a movie! Which you are all invited to participate in!) which you can read about at The Beckoning of Lovely website. Intriguing!
I only really like a few of the songs so far, but this was a pleasant surprise because I DID NOT like Medulla and was worried that Bjork had lost it completely. The duets are definitely scary, but I like some of the tracks like ‘Vertebrae by Vertebrae” and “Earth Intruders” and “Declare Independence.”
Her style has definitely made changes throughout the years, but I still love her as a musician. :)

i’m sort of confused about how i feel about this movie! i think it was really amazing and beautiful at times, but it was also one of the most horrifying and depressing movies i’ve ever seen.
a lot of times it was just like being kicked in the face. great though, i guess. i was really sad afterwards.
this might technically be a “good” movie, but it disturbs me so much that i have to say it’s not worth it. not for me anyway!
i think it would be great for other people because it most definitely makes you want to never be addicted to anything. however, not being addicted to anything, it was just sort of life-scarring for me.
within the first 5 minutes of this movie i found myself saying out loud, “are you serious?”
by the end of the film i had deduced that mel gibson is possibly insane.
most of the time i was just hating the blair-witch-project like camera effects and wishing i was watching the movie that i saw the preview for. it was not at all what i expected.
one time i kidnapped this cd from my sister. i never gave it back. and for a month straight (seriously) i listened to it every day in my car.
i thought i was over it, but i’m not. i was listening to it this morning.
