Disc 2 (Dusseldorf) is where the action is – Cozy Powell and Ritchie sound fantastic. The sets for all 3 nights (indeed, the whole tour) are identical and some of the versions have appeared before on “On Stage” and “Live in Germany.” The discs are sold separately, so the box set is really just for the super-enthusiast. Selling this as a huge box set seems a little old school too – why not remaster and offer all of the shows from the European tour, many of which have already been released somewhere or another?

If you’re like me (I know you’re probably not) and can’t get enough of this very short-lived line-up, you’ll like this set and wish there was more!

Okay, gotta get back out of adolescence now.

How long can something be stuck at 99.5% completion? I want my majorleague regression and i want it now. (but not enough to pay $75 for it).

Update: I did end up ordering it online for $60. The quality of the ripped version was horked, and I’d like to see the booklets and bellbottom pictures.
