A story about "The Natural: The Misunderstood Presidency of Bill Clinton" — 5 years ago

Thin and uninteresting. Not a particularly flattering picture, especially when read with Nickel and Dimed. Klein’s main contribution seems to be that the plan to send poor people back to wage slavery (“welfare reform”) was really Clinton’s plan all along, not forced on him by the Republicans as others suggest.

A story about "All the President's Spin: George W. Bush, the Media, and the Truth" — 5 years ago

Often good, but perhaps a little overboard in attacking Dems. (Probably because the authors are Dems themselves and are a little defensive about it.)
