I think this CD is Bon Jovi at its best. My favorite is Summertime, but all of the songs are really good. Two other great ones are (You Want To Make)A Memory, and the duet with Leann Rimes.

This was a really good and interesting book about astronauts. The main character is a woman astronaut that has young children and is pulled in so many directions. The book has so many interesting facets to it. I highly recommend it. My husband also enjoyed it so it’s not just a book a woman would like.

This is such a great book! It is a memoir about a boy that grows up without a father but has many father figures in the bar down the street. J.R. Moehringer is a wonderful storyteller, and there are many humorous moments in the book. I highly recommend it.

This was a book club selection, and several members thought it was wonderful; and the reviews I’ve read here seem to agree. But I don’t. It was very impressive that Ruth McBride Jordan raised 12 children and that all of them now have college degrees. And when the author was writing from his mother’s perspective, it was somewhat engrossing. But from his perspective, it just seemed like he was just vaguely glossing over and describing things that happened. I just didn’t get into that part of the story. To me this story was very interesting, but the writing was subpar.

This is the third book of Richard Russo’s I’ve read, and all of them were very entertaining. He is a good storyteller, and he fully covers his story.

The author is admittedly an egomaniac, but she is a funny one. The book is entertaining, and she’s a good writer so it was enjoyable. I kept having to remind myself that it was a memoir because it seemed more like a chick lit novel. So if you like that kind of stuff, you would like this book.

Frank Deford is a very good writer, and I had no idea until I read this book that he is a sports writer. This is an involved story about baseball and its “Entitled” players. He has also written two other really good books, An American Summer and Love and Infamy.

This was a good book about families in 19th century China. It is also an interesting book about female friendships and the misunderstandings that can change the course of a person’s life. I learned many things about Chinese culture from this book.

when Scott Smith writes a book. Both of his books start out so calm and normal, and then something happens. And people end up doing things you never thought they would.. This is a very interesting story about survival.

I thought this was an excellent book and that the author is a good writer. Some of the reviews I read on here do not agree with my opinion, but I thought it was an honest, genuine story. I look forward to reading his next book. The story of Amir and Hassan was an unforgettable story about true friendship and betrayal.
