A story about "leftovers" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Good a second time around? Always a toss up. For instance french fries reheated-not so good. Most pasta dishes reheated-good.

There’s this window between the second day and uhhh third maybe fourth depending on what it is before you may get food poisoning. It’s generally a myth btw that heating it up will somehow reverse the decay.

I actually dislike leftovers sometimes because I either forget them at the table, in my car or forget they are in my fridge. The day after I don’t want to eat them, because it’s a taste that’s still with me and rarely will I still be on a certain flavor kick.

WORTH CONSUMING!

This is a great album. Their single “Beautiful” may have been a flash in the pan but the rest is great. Poignant lyrics and beautiful melodies.

A story about "Laundry Service" — 3 years ago

This was Shakira’s first english crossover album. I enjoyed some of her new songs, however I thought they lacked the
edge and exotic sound of her songs on Donde Estan las Landrones.

A story about "Sorority Boys" — 4 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Funny and oh so true-I have actually dated one of those guys. By this I mean the character the actors portray. About a year before this movie came out I dated a guy who was a heterosexual crossdresser. I saw this movie some time after we had broken up and suddenly it all made sense!!

A story about "The Butterfly Effect (Infinifilm Edition)" — 4 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I thought the plot was a fascinating concept and the movie was well-done but I cried. I think that I would do the exact same thing he ended up doing in the end.

A story about "The Simpsons and Philosophy: The D'oh! of Homer" — 4 years ago

Many people think this is book about the philosophy OF the Simpsons, but that’s not the title. I didn’t read this until I had a philosophy course which definitely helped.

How "Personality Types: Using the Enneagram for Self-Discovery" changed my life — 4 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Very true to my type I loved the self-awareness and self-exploration, the solidarity of identity, the range of possibilities of expression for my type, how my type was formed in childhood, how I can recognize other people of my type and just that it was like a drug really. In some ways I was a bit high in reading about how I was and other times a bit delirious, annoyed and frustrated.

Quite accurate.

Some say that Riso-Hudson are too negative. I think they unapologetically lay the facts bare in detail in this first book, so that people can find their type without sticking to either the happy parts or the negative parts.

It took me a while to read through the types. From what I hear is common a person will be tested and then read through the types and the result they get is the one they want-not necessarily who they are. I wanted to be a nine. For their peacefulness and peace making ways. Then the more I read I knew I wasn’t in the instinctive triad, so nine was out. I was given a heads up by a friend whose mother was my type and type four fit. A friend of mine wanted to be an eight, for their confidence and power, but he’s a one who’s always wanted to be a hero.

A story about "Whatever You Want: We Write, You Decide: A Pick-Your-Own-Ending Escapade" — 4 years ago

This is an adult version of those “pick your own ending” books you read when you were younger.

A story about "Nevermind" — 4 years ago

I became interested in Nirvana around 8 when I heard Weird Al’s version of Smells Like Teen Spirit. My older brother then got me hooked.
