This was a bollywood remake of the beloved hollywood film – there’s something about mary. I thought Shahid was really adorable in braces, but that’s pretty much it. It was mixed with a lot of really weird things… as they would call it in india – a ‘masala movie’ which to me means there’s way too many things going on to really keep track of.

Tanya (the indian Mary) has got the disable brother of course, Karan is the geeky good guy with braces. They plan a date, but instead of karan zipping his – it is tanya who disapears – she runs into a scientist escaping for his life with one of those recording parrots that hold the password to the safe of his renown invention. He gives he the parrot, gets killed, and the killers recognize tanya’s face. So she must flee the country and move to Dubai, never to see karan again (until he tracks her down). And guess what she’s doing in Dubai? She’s become a famous singer named Natasha. Yeah weird! This doesn’t sound like mary at all… but the spy karan hires pretend to be an architect to win tanya’s heart, tanya’s disabled brother dies… but get’s replaced by a disabled man who reminds her of her brother who she took in after she hit him witha car (wha???) and sunil shetty plays the evil quadrapalegic, and she’s being stalked by a blind man, and there’s a bunch of other handicapped people stalking her who aren’t really handicapped… an ex boyfriend, and did you think those people after the parrot were just gonna forget about their vow to kill tanya? No – they’ve also come to dubai to hunt her down, and to find the parrot (all this time Karan has kept the parrot! How he got it, I have no idea!!). What this leads to is a massive dirt race and shoot out in the middle of the desert which was actually very entertaining .

Oh and a random guy narrating with a guitar? Check!!

This movie was really sweet and romantic at first. But it also gets really sad. The music is great, it’s A. R Rahman music. I was sooo mad by the ending!! I don’t want to spoil it, but it wasn’t a happy one really.

I watched it in Telugu first (telugu name: Sakhi), then in Tamil (Alaipayuthey), it was first made in tamil then dubbed! I don’t speak either but I like language differences. I didn’t notice at first but after a while you can tell it is dubbed!! Non-matching lips lol.

This movie was so profound and saddening and it has the kind of ending I like (won’t mention if that is sad or happy or… cuz I don’t want to spoil it for ppl who haven’t seen it yet^^)

OHHH this is such a fun tea blend! It makes an AMAZING iced tea. Tastes great with honey. The flavors are brought out nicely, it doesn’t taste fake, overly done, or sweet (until, that is, you add sugar or honey).

I got the rose tea blend from eastern shore co, it tastes sooo good when added to boiling milk. I usually don’t like milky teas unless it is a spicey mix like indian style, but this goes so well made with milk.

I found this at a library and I picked it up because the title spoke to me (as a blonde). I found the stories in it interesting, insightful, funny and witty, and familiar.

So it was a mix of stories from different kinds of blondes who all mostly choose to be blonde (because as I’ve learned – most natural born-blondes lose their blondeness after child-hood. Which is soo true now that I think of every blonde that has been ibn my family and how the sort of always magically seemed to turn into mousy brunettes. And those that stay blonde almost always have nordic roots, ruddy complexions, and invisible eyebrows!)

There’s the sun goddess blonde, the moon goddess blonde, the baby blonde, (they missed strawberry blonde!!) Blonde is not just the hair color but the persona that goes with it. When you dye/have blonde hair you are “a blonde” and you have a mysterious identity just because of that – blondes turn heads, it makes people misconceive you, hate you, love you… even without knowing you.

You could have the character of the dumb blonde (very MTV and Texas), the hollywood blonde, the tropy/arm candy blonde, the intellectual blonde, the martha stuart blonde, the innocent/angelic blonde…

I think there is a story in here every blonde can relate to. It’s even recommended for blonde admirers, haters (to hate + envy us even more), and my boyfriend (a black head). The book made me proud to be a blonde!!

I also only liked this for the cinematography; that is the sceanery being to scenic and the costuming brilliant. It was really pretty, but I was quite annoyed, I would have done things differently.

This tea markets thAT it will give ou great skin from the inside out.. clear your complexion with skin soothing herbs and clarfiying antioxidants and stuff that most teas already have… to me that sounds like a marketing scam, like miracle weight loss tea.

A few days ago I tried a sample and fell in love with the taste! It’s fruity and a bit naturally sweet. It’s caffeine free so I drink it several times a day and I’ll let you know if it makes me more gorgeous!

It’s a fabulous early morning tea when you need a caffeine boost. Like the little label, I drank this all night last year during my project procrastination period and stayed alert without getting jittery (like I do after I have a cup or two of coffee)

I thought the bond between these girls is inspiring. They have entierly different summer plans and their silly idea of taking turns with this pair of pants connects them through their memorable moments with the pants. I think almost every teenage girl and young women can relate to any one of these girl’s stories and become inspired by their lessons.
