A story about "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor" — 1 year ago
A real stinker and a total disappointment
I'm currently reading 4 books, listening to 1 album, watching 6 movies, eating and drinking 2 food items, and consuming 2 other things.
A real stinker and a total disappointment
Somewhat depressing, and hard to like the narcissist character.
Not often does a film come along that manages to pull of the perfect meld of idyllic scenery, good small town folk with their cutesy language, and friendship and honor above greed and avarice.
Waking Ned Devine is such a film!
‘m glad I read the abridged portion of this book.
Any more of the stereotypical “strong silent type” Adam, and hopeless co-dependent “Tyler” was going to make me barf.
I just can’t roll with Scott Turow. I’m more of a John Grisham guy. I find Turow’s stories very hard to follow.
God help me, because after all this was the ultimate “chick flick”; it’s just that I liked the concept of friendship that was portrayed over and over.
Yvonne and I were the ONLY people in the theatre watching this.
What I learned while watching the Bucket List:
1.) Coffee was invented in Ethiopia.
2.) Ancient Egyptians believe that you are asked two questions at the gates of heaven: have you found joy in your life, and have you given someone else joy.
3.) The woman whom the Taj Mahal was built for, died after giving birth to her 14th child.
9/10
Actually seen in the theatre, it was a movie that Stephanie suggested.
The part where Ashton feigned domestic battery in the marital counseling was probably the best part.
I never knew that Groucho’s mustache was painted on.
Because I learned the following:
Anywhere from 20 to 25% of South Africa has the HIV virus.
