Hey, I get it for free through work so I have it’s actually not bad. It can really broaden your musical tastes, although it’s lacking in the electronic music arena… only two stations? Fungus, Fred, XMU, the Rhyme, Audio Visions and Cinemagic are pretty cool though.

When this CD first came out in 2002 it was quite a departure from Ersatz Audio’s previous compilation “The Forgotten Sounds of Tomorrow” – a complilation that really blew me away and change my musical direction forever. At first I didn’t like “Misery Loves Company” very much. It is very “punk electro.” Now I really enjoy it as i’ve gotten more into punk and industrial again.

The chapter on the importance of Aged Buildings explains quite well why suburbia is so fucking bland. All new construction = all chain businesses = no room for the dive bar, only souless chain restaurant’s like Chili’s… new construction = pricy rent (something only big business can afford). And I thought the chapter would be about old buildings having beautiful architecture… how pragmatic… :)
