This is my favorite of the three Pink Carnation books out at the moment. Though the others were really amazing too, this one had Miles Dorrington. He is the best male lead in Willig’s books so far. This book is so romantic and thrilling, which an added bit of history as well. Do not let the history part discourage you from checking it out, it is NOT AT ALL like a boring history lesson. Hopeless romantics, like me, will love this.

I was one of the last of my friends to read this, and I did not even want to. They told me what it was about and I laughed since I usually stuck to semi-realistic books. But when I finally agreed to read it, I could not put it down. I think the characters are the main reason this book is worth consuming. A reader can really picture them and feel like they almost know them; I myself got REALLY into the story. I recommend this book to anyone and everyone!
