A good course to brush up on your basic philosophy and so on. Check the course’s page :)
I’ve actually read it once now… but I want to re-read it and take notes.
This is my favorite of these really great and healthy skyr-drinks to pick up on the go.
It’s healthy, fast, easy and tastes great
This is just one of the coolest documentaries out there. Plants and trees live on a totally different time scale from humans and getting to look into their slow moving realm is enchanting. Seeing vines snaking up trees and leafs snapping to catch insects is other-worldly. This 2 DVD set really gives you a glimpse of another dimension of our world.
This one is much too sweet.. If you like pears I’d rather add them to plain skyr and pear-skyr yourself.
Skyr is a really healthy dairy product and this is the best skyr! And this brand is better than skyr.is vanilla skyr :P
An essential document of the memes of nationalism and the state.
Probably not advisable for people who have yet to experience some disillusionment of nationalism and the nation state, this is a propaganda film and a good one. For those just starting to doubt these ideals I’d recommend the rodeo scene from Borat’s journey across the states, to start with. -Though actually that scene would have been about ten times more ridiculous (and disgusting) then it was, if he had actually song the national anthem like they usually do.
But apart from the tragedy of it, watching the angry little man can be funnier than watching Chaplin’s parody of him in The Great Dictator
The film is quite long but is well worth watching anytime you are in the mood for a glimpse of the recent past.
Ok.. This is a cool movie with a nice film-noir theme I quite like. But don’t expect to much since the story is quite sketchy.

But don’t expect to much since the story is quite sketchy. It’s not often that movies can hold their own with flaws in the progression of the story-line and inconsistencies, but I’d say this one does. It is a pleasure to watch. The inconsistencies are bothersome but are all right because of the snap shot quality of the scenes (common for both comic books and this theme).

I think that way I got my pleasurable impression, since I’d decided not to watch it as a “movie” per se and it more than holds up on the visual side. I’d recommend it to anyone interested in the visual arts.
This is not the best historical atlas I’ve seen, but someone gave it to me and I needed to review my history a little bit for my travels.
There are some faults/mistakes in the text and the text itself is a little too brief for my taste. I think the maps are often good though, showing clearly what they are intended to show. I like how they tilt the maps for example. That shows connections of areas that conventionally sit differently in our minds and fits them better onto the pages.
I brief I’d say I recommend people to look for a better one, and I recommend getting yourself a more specific one if you are interested in any specific time, region and/or culture.
