It’s pretty much an “intro” movie to cyberpunk with a Syndicate Wars type plot. This is fine by me -since Syndicate was what turned me on to cyber-punk in the first place! It’s far too delicate and sublime for cyberpunk though in my opinion, but it’s nice to get some at least half decent cyberpunk movies!

It’s a movie based on action comics…

Don’t expect too much. Judge it for it’s within it’s own category. Or do as I and just watch the visuals ;-)

That being said I’d say quite a bit of the visuals were nice and that at least some of the them reminded me a bit of Æon Flux (the animated serie), which is a vibe I’ve been missing now for a while ;-)

This is such a great Christmas drink

There are many mixtures but all are concentrated Christmas in a cup :-)

I guess it should be marked as “worth consuming” even though it was torture to watch it. I suppose it steels you to fight for justice. It was a really nasty film though, the inhumanity makes you sick almost through the whole movie.

I guess this is an OK movie.. but damn that “culture” is appalling.

Goes perfectly with Dune, which I was reading at the time I got this CD. There’s this teched-up Arabian sound to it :)

Another thing some people give to foreigners for kicks when they are looking for something “authentic Icelandic”. It can be worth a taste in the right kind of silly atmosphere but I wouldn’t go looking this one up just to try it!

You can decide to stay away – there is a reason this isn’t eaten any more! Or you can go for it to show that you aren’t afraid of the sharks :-)

Either way I think you can be quite pleased with your decision. It’s quite an acquired taste :-)

The only time Icelanders eat this is as a part of Þorramatur at a “Þorrablót” an old heathen festival held in the month of Þorri but that today consists of Icelanders showing each other that they aren’t disgusted by the stuff their ancestors ate and getting drunk in the process. In fact I’d strongly recommend taking a shot of Brennivín with it to wash it down :-)
