Having a fetish for realistic on screen ultra-violence, I was very disappointed at the poor quality of the film. You simply cannot base an entire film on violence and gore. A story, or rather a sorry excuse for one, does exist, but is soon forgotten. If it’s violence you seek, watch Salò o le 120 giornate di Sodoma.

Read this first while on holiday in Thailand, after purchasing it for around 2$. A week ago i spotted the Hebrew translation and picked it up. A thrilling ride of a book, highly recommended.
