Why I recommend "The Ice Queen: A Novel"

The Ice Queen: A Novel

by Alice Hoffman

I just finished this book and I have to say without a doubt that this is one of the most moving, breathtaking and magical books I’ve ever read. The almost lyrical winding way in which hoffman weaves her story, the way she uses her words it is almost like your reading beautiful poetry instead of a book. I sobbed in the last chapters of this book which is something that is rare for me to do when reading books. This novel is brillant and so utterly moving. It is sure to stay with me for a long time to come. Anyone that believes in magic, or wants to believe that there is more to this world than just what the eyes can see should deffinately read this spellbinding book.

Why I recommend "Flickr"

Flickr

by Ludicorp

I have just started to learn photography and I’ve found flickr to be not only a great place to display my photos but also a great photography community in general. In less than a month I upgraded my free account to Pro. I love the site, and I’m so glad a friend of mine turned me on to it!

http://www.flickr.com/photos/snowgoddess/
