WORTH CONSUMING!

My dad, his girlfriend and I rented it last night. His girlfriend said that a few of her co-workers said that it was even more grousome than The Strangers and that a few of them couldn’t sleep at night.

So… I said “RENT IT.”
lol

It did make me scream! But it wasn’t at all more horrific than The Strangers, but the ending… that was kind of sick! It reminded me of The Ring.
I gotta admit… I did have to sleep with my closet light on.
lol

I thought it was really good though.

WORTH CONSUMING!

It was really good, not expecting this crap at all!

SPOILER

I seriously almost could not watch it all because of when that one gangster told the young gangster to shoot the guys’ kid if he didn’t help them.
That was so messed up.

AND THEN… there was this one part where a guy got shot in the chest, and it was a closeup, and it looked so real.
I am not even kidding here.

SO REAL.

I had to look away and almost could not finish it again!

I really hate stupid movies about gangsters and nonsense shooting, stupid stupid stupid movies like that.
But this one I really liked because it was a small group of gangsters and it had kind of a twist.

Like Hustle and Flow, how there was a twist and it wasn’t all about stupid gangsters because he was really trying to do something neat and there were a lot of characters you wouldn’t expect to see!

Still makes me cringe, but it was a really good movie.

And I don’t like the Cuba Gooding guy, but he was amazing in this movie!

WORTH CONSUMING!

WTF

So frickin hilarious, the fat kid… ah, I really wish I knew someone with his sense of humor in real life!

I did not know what this movie was going to be about before I watched it.
For some reason I always thought it was about two guy cops, like ones from Reno: 911, dressed in stupid brown police uniforms, doing stupid things and having something to do with someone called “McLovin” that I’d heard about a couple times (even though it was really just like that haha.

Man, I’m glad I watched it!

That kid, the fat one, he reminds me of that guy in Knocked Up, the fat one.
And I think that guy played one of the cops in this movie, I’m not sure, because he had kind of a beard or mustache and the guy in Knocked Up did not.

Oh well, it’s FUNNY.

I might watch it again in a little bit!

Scary!!! — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

OH.

MY.

GOSH.

I am dead serious (lol)... I can not remember the last time a movie made me scream, the type where you’re really scared yourself and your heart is beating really, really fast.

This movie made me scream like that TWICE.

Holy crap, I still can’t get over it, and we finished watching it a couple hours ago.

I don’t know if this is true or not because my dad has a tendancy to make up lies to keep your interest about something or to sound ‘smarter’ about something, but he did tell us that the movie had to be taken out of theaters (or wasn’t ever shown in theaters) because it was too scary.

I gotta admit… because of the last thirty minutes or so, I can kind of believe that!!
Especially the ending, that was kind of sick.

We had to rewind it about five times (literally) because we couldn’t understand what was going on in the beginning, and it was kind of a little slow and a little confusing but we finally understood it and it was just… woah.

And it’s a true story and I just feel so bad for those people!

“Why are you doing this to us?!”

”...because you were home.”

Isn’t that just the saddest thing in the world and the most grousome answer.

There are some pretty messed up people out there.

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

This was not about what I thought it was going to be about!

But I love Annette Benning!
She’s so classy, she kind of reminds me of Diane Keaton.

(spoiler kind of?)
And I really don’t think that a real woman would’ve reacted the way that she did when she found out he was cheating?
My mom didn’t.
My friends didn’t.
I don’t even remember her crying in the movie.

Sooo… I turned it off about fifty-something minutes in.

lol

I was hoping for something like The First Wives Club!

Thank goodness for free-movie websites so I don’t have to worry about spending money on something I end up not liking!

But Debra Messing acted so much like Grace!! I loved that!
I was kind of waiting for a “what’s this, what’s happening, what’s going on” to pop up somewhere in the background.

LOL

WORTH CONSUMING!

I was not expecting these things to happen in this movie!

At first, when it started, I thought that it was going to be one of those think-really-hard types of movies about a mental patient: Patch Adams meets The Butterfly Effect meets… Psycho.

That kind of film.

It totally suprised me, and… made me cring a LOT!

Although this movie was based on a true story (I had no idea until my dad told me), the ending was not what happened in real life.

In real life, the guy who got caught in the car died and somebody found him.

Just… wow.

I’m glad I saw this!
I’ve never even heard of it before!

And Mena is always a beauty!

WORTH CONSUMING!

I only caught the last half, but it was pretty good!

I caught myself talking to the movie when she was in disguise and almost ran into him at the water fountain in the old folks home.

“omg!”
“oh nooo, don’t catch her!”

lol
