WORTH CONSUMING!

Great story! But having never seen the movie, I was surprised at how long it took for the humans to actually meet aliens.

Why I gave up consuming "Nova" — 3 years ago

It’s just not interesting to me. I may try reading it again sometime, but I have many more enjoyable books waiting for me. :)

WORTH CONSUMING!

Great book. I definitely recommend this, even though the ending is a bit cheesy.

WORTH CONSUMING!

A great book! It ended with an awful cliffhanger, though, and I don’t have the next book of the series. :(

A story about "Years Best SF - 1 (1)" — 3 years ago

Some of the stories were good, but most were just okay.

A story about "The Golden Compass (His Dark Materials, Book 1)" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I generally like science fiction more than fantasy, but this book is great. I read the series a couple years ago, and it is just as good as I remember.

WORTH CONSUMING!

Generally the stories are good, but there are a few in here which are unintentionally funny.

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

Horrible. More than a few times I couldn’t help laughing at the horrendousness of this movie. For example, in a fight scene, Violet kicked an enemy’s arm and he immediately fell over, dead… also, there were at least two scenes where enemies were all around her and she killed them all by spinning in a circle with a sword. Twice in the movie, people told her she couldn’t do something, and she said, “Watch me” in that uber-cool voice she seems to love using. stabs Die! Arrgh.

WORTH CONSUMING!

Asimov never disappoints.

A review of "Falkenberg's Legion: Prince of Mercenaries" — 3 years ago

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

Not my kind of book. Life on other planets is much too earthlike (animals that seem to be a cross between a moose and a mule, sea creatures similar to loch ness monster, flowers, green jungles…) and thus unbelievable.
