I’m going to have to say, I saw American Gangster, and when I saw this book, because I had no library card, it took me a bit to finish it but finish it i did and it was well worth the time I took to do so.

Pam Grier to many of us was a sex symbol back in the 70s; so much so I didn’t watch much of her stuff until I got grown. It was a treat to sit down and read her autobiography, but there were times I was truly hurt for the sister. being raped at age six, having the memory as a child of being discriminated against while your father served his country. Loving and losing, experiencing cancer and beating it. to me, this sister is not only a sex symbol but a true soul surviving sister. 100% and I recommend the book to others.

After being so moved by The original Christmas Jars, I was so glad that there was a sequel coming; I was able to get a copy of this at Sam’s Club(in my opinion, that was gift enough) but then, someone else thought the same thing and gifted me the same copy as well so it is my plan to give the copy as well as the first Christmas Jars as a gift for someone who could use it next year. The Reunion story speaks of the young lady who got the jar, and her mission to keep it going on. She decided to spread the love and more subplots develop from that. If your a sap, love reading some good holiday cheer, get a copy and then get a jar, start small and put some change during the year and pass it along. you’ll feel better about it as well as yourself.

this has got to be one of the best kept secrets of the times especially with the recession. I was reading initially The Wednesday Letters by Mr Wright, when I went to see about other books that he wrote and that is how I came about The Christmas Jars. immediately, I got a copy and fell in love with it. The simple story of a young lady and the family that befriended her was nothing short of beautiful. never forgot it. It got so, I went to the christmas jars site and got interested in it. This year coming, God willing, I plan to give one away. I want to have a real nice Christmas and perhaps make someone else’s nice too. that is my plan.

perhaps the best book I’ve read all of this year. next to From Superman to Man and 32 Candles.

I am reading this as a part of a year long readathon with many others on Facebook. So far, it’s been dragging, but I enjoy reading it. I am also working on my goal to read the Bible as well.

first of all, I thank the good Lord for putting the shea butter where it is so that Mother Africa can get some credit; But a friend that I watch online on You Tube, Tonya TKO, she started mentioning the benefits of using this and it went from there. Now folks all around are using this baby and I got a set myself around Christmas time for me and my daughter; The stuff is GOOD. and it has softened my skin and lightened my stretchmarks, but my daughter’s acne as well as backacne is disappearing.
