A story about "American Gods" — 5 years ago
A very good book, with vivid and sometimes really disturbing imagery (kitten in the closet… eeew). Good references to myth and legend, although it was a little spare for me. Good read though.

I enjoyed this book, but it didn’t seem really complete at the end. I like Neil Gaiman’s work but he always seems to leave way too many loose ends for my comfort.
Lestat seems to be devolving a little—his voice gets a little annoying at times, but I still can’t put it down!!
Nice read, if a little light for me. It’s really nice to read a fantasy book from the Muslim culture’s point of view for once.
I’m really beginning to get annoyed with Terry Goodkind. His books are starting to resemble pro-Bush pro-war propaganda. Not at all appetizing or interesting. If I wanted that I’d have attended the Republican convention.
Good light-reading fantasy (at least comparatively for me). Also nice to have a story written with a partial base in the Muslim folkloric tradition for once.
A true favorite of mine. Greeno writes beautifully and I highly recommend her books for cat lovers.
The completion of the first set of ghatti books- a great read, and keep going to the next set, Ghatten’s Gambit. She does some of her finest writing to date.
My favorite of all of Greeno’s books and also an all-time favorite. A warning, the story may be hard for animal lovers to read at times—she does such a fantastic job characterizing the ghatti that it’s hard to get through at points. I bawled like a baby. A definite must-read though.
One of my favorite books. Greeno is a great storyteller and I love her ability to make the characters come alive. A must for cat lovers.
