This movie was a meaningful example about how hope and despair can intersect in a society which can many times be selfish and disconnected.

Solo was a real friend in this film. I would love to have this man as my friend. He is a man of authentic compassion.

Excellent, excellent film. Life is often just “for sake of it” and oftentimes we live as if there is nothing better or that the better life can never be attained. The main character, Rosalba, finally decides to live her life, not just for the sake of it, but fully, enjoyably, happily.

Of course I wanted to see a legend in one of her first movies, and a German film at that. But Emil Janning’s character and role in the film was very sad and very depressing. However, his acting was excellent, just too dark for my blood.

Very powerful movie about love and family and finding a way through cultural and generational confusion.

The premise for the movie was good. It’s an interesting concept.

Mark Wahlberg and Zooey Deschanel enhance the movie by being in it…but the dialogue was questionable. It was definitely B quality, especially with the acting ability of the supporting characters.

I still like M. Night Shyamalan. He is a creative genius. He just should have spent a bit more time on this one.

A definite feel good, happy ending type of story. And that’s the sort of thing you want at this time of year. Right? Perfect film for Christmas-time.

I went in wanting a good laugh and Jim Carrey delivered. What crow’s feet I already have he helped deepen. What better way to age than that!

This is SO incredibly good. I am an addicted Red Bull drinker, but this is even better. If only it was minus the artificial food coloring…

As far as time travel stories go, this was an excellent story. I’m hoping that when I can some day complete my book of fiction on time travel, it will be as thorough and interesting as this book by J.T. Whitman.

It was the kind of read that kept me on the edge of my seat, not wanting to put it down.
