Why I recommend "Life As A House (Ws)" — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

A significant part of the movie, for me, was when a nurse spends a few moments with George, the main character, and touches him in a way he didn’t expect. Quite profound!

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

One of the dumbest I’ve seen in a while. So bad I couldn’t finish it…

And these actors were paid to do this???

WORTH CONSUMING!

One of the best movies I’ve seen in a while.

Life really is about making our relationships intensely better every day. Or letting go of the ones who are harmful.

which shows Jimmy Stewart’s greatness. And what better film than to act with Grace Kelly!

This scene was hot before hot was hot. :)

WORTH CONSUMING!

Walter Matthau always makes me laugh. He was such a goof!

Why I recommend "Goodbye Solo" — 2 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This movie was a meaningful example about how hope and despair can intersect in a society which can many times be selfish and disconnected.

Solo was a real friend in this film. I would love to have this man as my friend. He is a man of authentic compassion.

Why I recommend "Bread and Tulips" — 2 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

AKAPane e tulipani.

Excellent, excellent film. Life is often just “for sake of it” and oftentimes we live as if there is nothing better or that the better life can never be attained. The main character, Rosalba, finally decides to live her life, not just for the sake of it, but fully, enjoyably, happily.

A really, really inspiring film!
