A story about "No Country for Old Men" — 2 years ago
drystyx’s opinion is based on taste alone. It is an original and compelling film. Not everything is explained in the film nor is everything shown which I appreciate as it adds to the story telling. If you want a straight forward hollywood storyline, adhering to a format you have seen a thousand times before, you wont get it with this film.
The big brother element of the story is irrelevant and thus is not explained in any detail. Sure, you ask yourself ‘hey how did they find him?’ but ultimately it makes little or no difference to the story. Some might get caught up in the details but then they miss the point of the story altogether.
