WORTH CONSUMING!
Now I know what is “New Typography”. Based on Tschichold’s defination, the “old typography” is the one that has more decoration for lettering. The reason it has this feature is because at that time, books are expensive and people have much more time to read then that of people have in morden time. But now, we have too many information to receive every moment during our life and work. Therefore, the “New Typography” needs to be more legible and pure.

This summer, I went to London to study British Graphic Design and yes I had a chnce to meet Alan Fletcher at his studio!
Every time when I asked him question, he just asked me back to let me discover the answer. As a man who is 75 years old, he has the thinking which is even sharper than 20s. One word, he is a scary designer…
