This is like a guys chick-show. At the heart of the show is a female sportswriter who is defining herself and her relationships, like any one of the characters in Sex And The City. But she hosts a poker game every Thursday night with her pals, who happen to be a bunch of guys and her brother. The fact that the show focus on all these characters as well makes it enjoyable for guys as well.

The writing and acting is great—I have the DVD set of the first season and by watching episodes over again, I am catching hilarious things I missed before. And since some of the characters of the show are based on real people associated with the show, it makes the comraderie of this mixed bunch seem more…well, real.

It’s a fun watch. Jordana Spiro is easy on the eyes for guys to watch. And women viewers have their choice of male actors to fawn over!
