Why I recommend "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" — 12 weeks ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This has sat on my ‘To read’ list for 5yrs, only now did I get round to picking it up.

This is an incredible book for anyone who feels comfortable watching life, who ever has been described as quiet when really they were deep in thought, putting the pieces together.

A wonderful coming of age book, that now sits firmly in my all time favourite list.

A story about the last time I consumed "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time" — 15 weeks ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I read this book when it was first published, it was too raw too close to the bone because of the work I was doing at the time. I don’t know why I went back to it again.

With a fresh set of eyes, I laughed oh how I laughed, I nodded I hmmed. I ‘got it’. For anyone who has ever been touched by autism, ever wondered why? This is a wonderful book to dip your toe into in a non threatening way.

How "The Valkyries" changed my life — 33 weeks ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

An incredibly book.

Simple guidance for a more insightful life. When I came to the end, I turned right back to the beginning to relook at the subtle guidance which I overlooked first time around.

An absolutely fascintating read! — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

The book gives a great mix of theory and practical application for those moments when we ‘know’ something without knowing why.

I strongly believe in instinct and intuition, this book cuts through the layers and allows us to see thin slicing in true operation.

A big thumbs up!

Book Of Lost Things — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

“Having lost his mother David is angry and alone with only his books for company. They soon begin calling to him whispering from the shelves. He soon takes refuge in the myths and fairytales and finds himself in a land created by his imagination.”

A truely magical book. If you have ever found yourself lost within a fairytale, looking beyond the story that lies on the page, coming alive more in our imagination, and our day dreams then this book is for you. A real gem, as it explores the depths of David’s imagination and the journey he takes from a boy into the faltering first steps of an adult in an unknown world where wolves talk, and a crooked man beckons David further into its realm.

I just wish it didn’t have to end so soon.

Where oh where was the editor? — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

You could have cut this book in half and it would have been far better. A lot of unnecessary clutter, in what was a good book once you waded through.

Do you Dare? — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

As a horror it works well, wrapped cunningly together into a black comedy.

More than a spark! — 2 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

A witty and original book, so glad I fell for the rather cunning marketing ploy. I will be looking out for his other titles.
