A story about "Lazy Girls Guide To Good Sex" — 1 year ago

Reading this book has made me realise just how lucky I am. Let me explain; I know your average guy, I’ve dated two of them, the things they want to do, the things they don’t, the stuff they rush because they’re not sure how to do it right, this is who the book describes. And if I were still dating either one of them, I would find this book very useful.

As it is, it’s quite useful. Because I have an amazing boyfriend, he is sensitive and lovely, knows exactly what I like (but no guy is a mind reader, you have to tell guys what you like and don’t like, or you’ll never be satisfied), and cares very deeply about me. He’s not like the guy they describe in the book, so a lot of it is useless to me, and I am so glad! :D

Without sounding too big-headed, or slutty, I think I know quite a bit about this topic already, but it always pays to advance your knowledge where possible ;)

A story about "George's Marvelous Medicine" — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This story was one of my favourites, and it was one of the first books I remember my dad reading to me in bed, which I couldn’t wait for the next chapter.

A story about "The Lazy Girl's Guide to a Fabulous Body" — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

It’s going well, and I really want to follow some of the advice and exercise techniques they talk about, as the logic behind them seems good. Now just to fit it in :)

A story about "Pippi Longstocking" — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Pippi is actually quite funny in her ignorance. I didn’t really know much about her before I started reading this book, but she’s a lot of fun. On hearing you have to pay to go and see the circus, she clamps her eyes shut, thinking everything you see, you must pay for. Then when they get to the circus, there’s an old lady sat giving out tickets and Pippi says “How much is it to look at you?” :) Love it.

Why it's taking me forever to finish consuming "Hash" — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

It’s hard going, the writer’s main character is a writer, who spends a long time talking about writing, and how one doesn’t enjoy or dislike writing, it just happens. Which is hard for me to grasp, the whole book is a little like this, but I’m persevering, nonetheless.

A review of "Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang (Widescreen Edition)" — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I liked it, but there was a big feeling of urgency in the film, like they couldn’t speak fast enough – was there a time limit on the film or something? It made it rather hard to follow at times, but oh well.

A story about "Connie And Carla (Full Screen Edition)" — 2 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Connie and Carla sing at their local airport (yet not very successfully), but when they see someone they know get shot, they have to go on the run. As they are singers, they want to find work in that field, but it’s going to be difficult, since the guys after them know what they look like. Then they find a very good way to disguise themselves :)

The plot is very much like ‘Some Like It Hot’, and it’s just as silly and fun.

A story about "The Sign" — 2 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This was one of my favourite albums as a kid. I liked pop a lot back then, and even now it makes me smile when I hear an Ace of Base song :)

The Good Food 101 series — 2 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

All these books are gems. They’re compact, cost around £6, and have a full colour picture for each recipe, with kcal/protein/fat quantity information too. These books are a great way to get into cooking, I own four of them so far.
