A story about "Evolution" — 3 years ago
I kept waiting for it to get better…it never did.
I'm currently reading 8 books, listening to 3 albums, watching 7 movies, eating and drinking 0 food items, and consuming 0 other things.
I kept waiting for it to get better…it never did.
I liked this movie because the ending can be taken as either happy or sad (depending on your perspective). In that way, it’s very unusual for a romantic movie.
This is a forgotten classic. It had an impact on me, and I’m not sure how to categorize it. I’ll admit it’s pretty slow for most of the book, but it’s strange and haunting.
I had to read this for a class. When we analyzed the data, it just fell apart. It really is an example of researchers drawing a conclusion first and trying to make their data match their assumptions.
What was that?
I saw this movie a couple of years ago, and I’m still not sure if I liked it or not. I liked the concept. It was very original, but it also seemed rather pretentious. I would say it was worth it though for the very insightful line, “You are what you love, not what loves you.”
While I’m not a huge fan of the other Kevin Smith movies, I absolutely loved this one. It’s a great alternative for all those who (like me) can’t stand those Sleepless in Seattle and City of Angels hokey romantic movies, but are still interested in seeing a movie that explores the topic of love.
This movie tries to poke fun at Hollywood, but just ends up being a parody of itself.
It’s a very unique film! It also has a underlying message about aging, but even taken on the surface it’s just great for a change of pace.
The acting seemed a bit stilted at times. If you can get past that it’s a good film about acculturation. Also, it’s the only movie I can recall ever having a 69 bedroom scene in it.
