Painful train wreck of a novel. — 45 weeks ago

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

This is one of the WORST books I have ever read. It took so long to even begin to get to the point of the story. None of the main characters were likable at all. The secondary characters were actually interesting, but very two dimensional. You actually WANTED to see more of them, but ended up being denied. The plot moved so painfully slow, that often times it felt like there was no progression at all. It was also aggravating because the narrator jerked the reader around constantly. He would tell tell you something very important and then at the end of that chapter, he would tell you how he just made all of it up and lied to you. That is clever and interesting the first time, but the writer used and abused it every few pages.

Huge disappointment. Not worth looking at much less reading. Stay away….far, far… FAR away. D:

WORTH CONSUMING!

I was soooo disappointed in this novel. D: Clive is one of my all time fave authors, yet this book is almost as bad as his directing ability (and that is pretty bad.)

Why I recommend "Doctor Who: Pest Control (Unabridged)" — 45 weeks ago

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

This may not be the best of the new Doctor Who books, but it is worth getting just to hear Tennant reading it. He does a delightfully awesome job doing different character voices. It is especially enjoyable to listen to him do the voice of Donna.

Why I recommend "GaiaOnline.com" — 46 weeks ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I’m not exactly sure how one consumes a community web site… but yes, it is worth consuming Gaia. :D “Oh, it’s just for kids!” or “Oh, it’s just a typical teen hang out” OR “Oh, it’s just a place for people who LOVE anime”. No, it is a site for everyone to enjoy. I’m 29 and I have made and met great friends there- some older then me, some younger then me. Yes, teens are there. Yes, anime lovers are there…. but there is so much more to gaia then just those things. Movies, books, artwork, comics, toys, politics, general talk, sports, etc. Seriously. I love gaiaonline.com because there is just so much to talk about and so many people to talk to. :D

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

....claimed he “LOVED” grindhouse movies, Tarantino really missed the mark on what a grindhouse movie feels like. It had flashes of true grindhouse experience, but over all it felt like something was lacking.

spoiler

This movie was terrible because of the way the plot flowed. Everything lined up too perfectly, especially at the end. They just happened to have candy in the car, the people who tricked them at the hotel just happened to be standing in front of the car so he could run over them, being on the train with the main villain and just happening to be able to follow him to the bathroom and kill him. so predictable and cliched. Save yourself, skip it.

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

You know what made Myers so scary in the original movie? The fact that he came from a normal, suburban middle class family. In the remake they had to give him a reason- his lame white trash faimly (Zombie’s old, one trick pony gimmick). How predictable coming from Zombie. The Original Myers was scary because of how normal his environment was. That he was just damaged from the start. The remake trashed that, and so much more. The characters, the acting, the directing, etc. Laughable. One of the worst remakes I have ever seen, if not THE worst. How can I get my wasted time back? Agh.

Why I recommend "Return to House on Haunted Hill (Unrated)" — 46 weeks ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

As for low budget straight to dvd sequels go, this one was surprisingly decent. Not the greatest movie ever, mind you, but entertaining anyways.

WORTH CONSUMING!

One of the better horror re-makes to watch in this age of horrid horror re-makes.
