A review of "Ready, Set, Crochet : Learn to Crochet with 19 Hot Projects (Stand-Up Book)" — 2 years ago

This might be good for a young teen beginner, but there are much better books on the market with similar and more interesting designs for the beginner. It just a matter of taste.

A review of "When the Wild Comes Leaping Up: Personal Encounters with Nature" — 2 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Because these are short stories about personal encounters by serval different personality types, some stories left me in awe with the feeling that I too had experienced something wonderful and some stories just left me staring blankly at the page. Still very much worth the read.

A story about "Being There" — 2 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Although I read this book back in my teen years, I still have very fond memories of it. The thought of it still brings a smile to my face.

WORTH CONSUMING!

This book has a saying for each day of the year which makes it a great meditation book. I have used this as a writting exercise book as well using the saying of the day as my theme to play with.

A story about "Story of O" — 2 years ago

This has become a classic of erotic literature, but does that make it worth consuming? I guess it depends on the person. I was not turned off by anything in the book, but I wasn’t turned on by anything either. It was an interesting story for erotica, but definately not a reread. Psychologically I can understand why so many people consider this an erotic staple, however I am not one of them.

WORTH CONSUMING!

This was such a heart-warming and heart-wrentching book. I absolutely loved it! A must read for the dog lovers of the world.

A story about "Forever..." — 2 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This is not your typical romance novel. In fact, I didn’t even realize Jude Deveraux was a romance novelist until I went looking for more books by her (this book was a gift by an unsuitable suitor). I thought she was a lighthearted mystery writer. I was shocked when the book store attendant told me to look under romance. I bought the second book in the series and became hooked. I never thought I’d be saying these words about a “romance” novel, but I am now a fan.

A review of "Changing Planes: Stories" — 2 years ago

It was ok. Some of the stories were very interesting and engaging, while others were lacking quite a bit. This is not a book I would suggest to someone else nor is it a book to be reread in the future.
