I didn’t get to finish this amazing book because it was due back to the library where there was a lengthy waiting list for it. I plan on purchasing this one! I am in the healthcare field and deal with many patients with various disorders. After reading this book I have much more sympathy and a far better understanding of what is going on with these patients. I only wish this was mandatory reading for all hospital staff. It would change the way many of the nurses and doctors treat their patients; not only in practice with medication but also verbally and compasionately. This book would also cause the psychiatry field to receive a complete overhaul on patient care.

This is one of my favorite Danny Kaye movies. Here’s yum, here’s the other yum and here’s yum yum. What a great line!

I absolutely love this film! I want the house that’s in Connecticut. WOW! They don’t make them like that anymore. Not that I think they ever did, but oh what a dream house.

This was Arnold’s first film as far as I can tell. They wouldn’t allow him to speak in the film because of his heavy accent so they dubbed over his voice. Which is a shame since his voice/accent has become somewhat iconic in the movie industry.

I only say this is not worth consuming because it was just too graphic and gory for my taste, however the story line was great.

I can’t believe MGM chopped von Stroheim’s film up to make it the length suitable for a movie theater showing. I would have loved to see the full length version of this film…all ten hours of it, heck I would even have liked to see his condensed 4 hour version. MGM got what they deserved…a flop at the box office.

I loved this movie when it first came out and when I found out it had my husband in it I loved it even more. Because of this it is a great “blast from the past” kind of movie for us.

I loved the “lighting” in the animation; it gave it a very French feel. Very cute movie!

I grew up watching Jacques Cousteau, so for me this movie is hilarious. My husband didn’t get it and to this day doesn’t understand why I laugh whenever I watch this movie.

This was a little annoying to read because of all the “ies” at the end of each sentence…ghosties, toaties, hosties…etc. It was just a bit too cutesies.
