A story about "Kenneth Keith Kallenbach: American Icon" — 1 year ago

As I watched this I was entertained but Kenneth is just better on Stern. Or was as I realized that Kenneth died recently while in jail awaiting trail. Then it just became sad.
Plus this video is just Kenneth’s material again, again and again. It should almost be rereleased with commentary from friends and family. It just reminds me of Rupert Pumpkin if he blew smoke out of his eyes.
I’M NO WACKO! – Kenneth Keith.

Stand alone — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This book wanted to be a Marvel version of Dark Knight Returns. Even the art was similar. The story however was good and deflected from the art and the attempt to be a copy. I wanted more of JJJ and Peter talking. Maybe for those that haven’t read Dark Knight Returns it might stand alone.

Completely enjoyed this.
I do disagree with the homophobic tones mentioned by the other posters but understand where they might see that. I won’t spoil anything but I highly recommend it. High suspense and gore.

A story about "End of the Century - The Story of the Ramones" — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

If you know nothing about The Ramones, watch it. If you’ve read and seen all the other films, docu and books, then you’ve already seen it.

WORTH CONSUMING!

Rare special features with this DVD, a commentary and interview with Ralph Bakshi. 2004 release so that’s about as good as you get with his DVDs.

WORTH CONSUMING!

When can a TV series in America be great the entire run? 24 episodes a year and all good. I argue that Sorkin leaving, hurt the show. If you’ve never seen it, rent a season and tell me you don’t want more.
Guest stars O’ plenty. Prolly my fav is John Goodman.
Favorite Ep – 2 Cathedrals. One of the best episodes of TV ever.
Cast member – That’s tough. Early on Bradley Whitford. End of the series, Alan Alda. Consistently, John Spencer. Martin Sheen can dominate a scene but Mr. Spencer can compliment the scene and tone of any cast or just a simple one on one.
And is was free of the Ted McGinley curse.

Not as good as Vol. 1 — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

but that’s mainly cause of art change and an annual thrown in. Annual was good but different writer and artist.
3 artist on one trade is not good for me.
Love Huston on MK enough though I ran out and bought Caught Stealing.

Meh — 1 year ago

Bill, you can do better. Why the art change?
Anyhow, it first part of the book is good and consistent. Then it seems to resolve and another story pops up with different art and it just kinda finished….meh.

does the Annual outshine the issues. This is the exception only cause the regular issues sucked. Boring story about things/people I didn’t care about.
Art is really the only consistently good thing in Mike Carey’s run so far. Granted there are 3 artist in this small trade.
