Highly dramatic and more than a little weird in some scenes. The depiction of the speed in which Chinese society changed from the 20’s to the 70’s is interesting, it’s worth a watch if you have about three hours to kill.

Worth watching if you don’t mind feeling fucked up afterwards. I enjoyed it more than ‘Rosemary’s Baby’ in a lot of ways, the tension is more pronounced.
