The “twists” were pretty obvious from about 40 minutes from the end, so that’s never a great sign, and one of the twists was really pretty stupid, but the acting was good and the movie was quite fun overall, so I can’t complain. It entertained me for the full length of the film
I loved this book. The plot twists were fantastic and the writing was beautiful. I think this could appeal to anyone. Definitely a must read.
So good. Brilliant acting, great plotline, very violent, but done nicely. Funny, clever.. I loved this film. So much so that I am tempted to pay another £6 and see it in the cinema again.
I haven’t read the book, so can’t really make a comparison, but this was a really fun movie. I thought all the acting was really good, which is surprising for this genre of movie. Meryl Streep was really brilliant and I love Anne Hathaway and Stanley Tucci so… yeah, not about to change my life forever, but I thought it was really well done.
I liked this for most of the novel, but have to say I got a bit bored about 3/4 in. It did pick up toward the end of the book, and I enjoyed it overall, but a bit disappointing
If this were a play, people would snap their fingers at the end of each act, instead of clapping. Really disappointed.
I did enjoy the movie for the most part, but I didn’t really get why Jennifer Anister’s character would be friends with the others. Also it really bothered me that she was all fine in the end because she met a rich guy in the end. One who tried to rip off his maid… ???
A very sweet film, with some really funny moments. Not the funniest film I’ve ever seen, but definitely worth a viewing. It stars people from Green Wing, Spaced, the Office, Nighty Night (among others )and cameos Cliff Richard.
