WORTH CONSUMING!

It wasn’t as good as the book, and they left some things out of the movie that I remembered being fairly essential in the book, but I read the book long enough ago for this to more or less for this to stand on its own, and I really enjoyed it!

WORTH CONSUMING!

While I would not call this a masterpiece, as several people on the book’s cover have, this is a really well written story and definitely worth reading.

My grandmother liked this book so much she wrote to the author to tell her (she has never written so any author before), and I think the storyline resonated with her a lot, but maybe I’m a few generations too young?

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

Oh my God. What sentimental bullshit. The acting was pretty terrible and the story was so overworked. I should have known from the tag line (“What’s your heart song”) and the fact that none of the trailers even hint at plot, but I went along anyway. The animation was amazing, but not enough to make up for an incredibly dull hour and a half, which felt like about four hours.

WORTH CONSUMING!

This was out in the cinema near my house for about a week, so I missed it then, but FINALLY saw it and how fantastic was this film? So funny and sweet and the acting was all great and Olive was adorable and Steve Carell was hysterical… Great, great film.

WORTH CONSUMING!

This was so funny. As soon as I realised I was nearing the end, I ordered the next in the series off Amazon.

A story about "The History of Love: A Novel" — 3 years ago

I enjoyed this book a lot, but didn’t love it enough to want to recommend it to a friend. It reminded me too much of other authors – Jonathan Safran Foer and Dave Eggers springing to mind right off the bat.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I love Kate Atkinson’s writing. Her characters are so vivid. This book is no different. It is a fantastic book, gripping from start to finish.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I kind of started to lose track of who did what to who at the end, but fortunately there are several recaps for those of us with limited memory capacity.

Very interesting book – was gripped right to the end. A story about the aftermath of WWII that manages to make all of the characters human.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I loved this film. Definitely the best Bond film in recent years. Although Daniel Craig pouted one too many times throughout it, and the end was fairly dragged out (and raised a few plot holes), it was really enjoyable and a good movie, not just a good Bond movie. I am looking forward to the next one!

WORTH CONSUMING!

I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this movie – when the ghost pops up inside the magician’s box, I was sure it was going to be a flop. But actually it was really enjoyable – funny, gripping – Woody Allen at his neurotic best. I really enjoyed it.
