If I could choose one book to make everyone on the planet read, this would be it. It is out of print, but there are plenty of copies available, usually for less than $10. It’s the first book of Herstory, or feminist revision of history, that I know of being published, and a lot of the newer ones use Davis’s research as a starting point. I keep stacks of them around to give as gifts, and I’m writing a book about it, wherein I want to update the research to incorporate new discoveries.
