I wasn’t so blown away with this story. While it was entertaining and did keep me interested, it was also a bit “chewy” and slow in parts. Especially the whole politics thing was a bit boring to me. Also, the heroes Dain and Fleur couldn’t really capture me, I can’t put my finger on to why.
However, the whole series has potential. I wonder what happened to Cyd and what’s the deal with Bridget?
It will be interesting to see what’s gonna happen to the storyline with all the different authors that write on this series…

Hmmm, I can’t really decide wether I liked this book or not. It was a bit too sappy and romancy for my current state of mind. Sure, there was some action, but it did seem a bit constructed to me. Still, I liked that the storyline about the Patron that was started in the last book found it’s finish here. We also met some characters from the previous books, which I liked.

Otherwise, quite entertaining.
