i found myself hurrying through the never-ending family history bits to get to the part where she finally finds out her parts aren’t quite right. lame, but true. it was taking TOO long to get to the point, and then i never got to find out if he had a normal relationship with julie kikuchi.

my favorite edward gorey cover art anthology so far. this one, weirdly, not compiled by marvin kaye, as all the others i own are.

the most delicious microwave mac n’cheese ever. even without real cheese! the sauce was creamy and gooey and the elbows weren’t all squishy like other microwave noodles.

i feel like i would have rather read all the fictional novels (about the adventures of the main character’s family) mentioned in this novel than the novel itself. it was really weird, and had no satisfying resolution.

her books are really the best continuations of the sherlock holmes stories i’ve come across so far. i mean, completely different from doyle’s approach, but i feel they are very faithful to holmes’ character.

i wasn’t expecting this to be an awesome movie, but i was expecting to laugh just a little bit. unfortunately, i think the funny just got overwhelmed by the raunchy.

really weird, with a twist ending!

i’ve already read this several times, and i’ll probably read it a few more times in the future when i’m in a slump and can’t find something new i’m interested in.

i do wish bailey white would write some more books though.

i guess i should have read this when i was little. it really didn’t appeal to me now.

a sad ending, but somehow not depressing.
