NOT WORTH CONSUMING

I really wanted to like this book. More than I did. The author too closely followed the Twilight framework, making Need feel unoriginal. Also the story wasn’t nicely fleshed out, the author skipped over any of the nice day-to-day interactions that build relationships, reveal clues to the story and so on. She just skipped to the plot points. Basically, with some better editorial guidance this book could have been so much more.

Lovely, a bit dark and a bit sad, but really lovely.

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

No spoilers

I was sadly disappointed in the final book in the Twilight series. The characters didn’t seem to have the same vibrancy from the other books, and perhaps didn’t make choices that fit with their characters. It feels as if someone else wrote this story and forced the characters to fit a preconceived storyline. It doesn’t ruin the other 3 books for me, but, I had higher expectations for this book, and wish I had a more satisfactory final story.

On a separate note… what was with that NAME?? You know what I mean. It was god-awful.
